Privacy policy

VizAI Art (“VizAI”, “we”) is a small independent art studio operated as a sole trader business in the United Kingdom. We are the controller of the personal data described on this page. You can reach us at admin@vizai.art.

Our online shop at store.vizai.art runs on Shopify and has its own privacy policy, which applies to orders, payments and shop accounts.

• Messages you send us. When you use the contact form we store your email address and message so we can reply. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in answering questions you send us.
• Server logs. Like every website, our server records the IP address, browser type, requested page and time of each visit. We use these logs only to keep the site secure and working. Legal basis: legitimate interest. Logs are deleted automatically after 14 days.
• Advertising and analytics — only with consent. We show ads through Google AdSense and may measure visits with Google Analytics. These services may use cookies and similar technologies, but only after you agree in the consent dialog. Legal basis: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time. Details are in our cookie policy.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not ask visitors to create an account.

Google, as a third-party vendor, may use cookies to serve ads on vizai.art based on your previous visits to this and other websites — but only if you consent to personalised advertising. Without consent, Google may still show non-personalised ads, which do not use cookies for profiling.

You can learn how Google uses information from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites and manage ad personalisation at myadcenter.google.com.

Some artwork on the site is displayed from Pinterest’s image servers (i.pinimg.com). When your browser loads such an image, Pinterest receives your IP address, as with any image on the web. We do not place Pinterest tracking tags on vizai.art.

• Contact messages: for as long as needed to answer and follow up, and deleted on request.
• Server logs: 14 days.
• Consent choices: stored in your own browser for up to 12 months.

Our server is hosted by Hetzner in Finland (European Union). Google may process data in the United States; such transfers rely on the UK–US data bridge and Google’s standard contractual safeguards.

Under UK data protection law you can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, object to processing based on legitimate interests, and withdraw consent at any time. Write to admin@vizai.art and we will reply within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

VizAI connects to its own Pinterest account through Pinterest’s official OAuth sign-in, so we can publish and organise our Pins. We never ask for or store a Pinterest password. Access tokens are kept only on our server, are never shown in the browser, and are used only for the permissions the account granted. Pinterest data is not sold or shared with anyone. The connection can be removed at any time, and the stored tokens are deleted when it is.

The site has a private area used only by the people who run VizAI. It uses a secure session cookie that is set only after an owner signs in. Visitors never receive it.

We update this page whenever the way the site works changes. The date at the top shows the latest version.
